The CSULB Fine Arts Round Table (FARt) begins this academic year with a group exhibition featuring work by graduate students throughout the greater Los Angeles area. This diverse community includes artists from 10 schools; California Institute of the Arts, Claremont Graduate University, CSU Northridge, Otis College of Art and Design, UC Irvine, UC Los Angeles, UC San Diego, and UC Santa Barbara. GLAMFA 2011 will occupy five CSULB art department galleries and two project spaces with more than 60 works in a diverse range of mediums. Now in its seventh year, GLAMFA has become a tradition for MFAs, encouraging dialogue amongst an emerging generation of LA artists and its public.
