Strike Day, 2016-2017

Victoria Aravindhan is an emerging artist born in Singapore and based in LA. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, with a Goldsmith Degree in 2014 and is a current MFA candidate and California Institute of the Arts. Victoria has participated in Art Stage Singapore 2014, as well as a group and solo project at Equator Art Projects. She is also the winner of Winston Oh Travel Award in 2013.

She works with video, installation, sculpture, sound and drawing while dealing with labor, materiality, object-subject relationship, gesture and land ownership through video documentations and performances based out of Hoskote, India, where she investigates the current Eucalyptus and water crisis.
