Stacey Alexander graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University Fullerton in 2012. She is currently in her 2nd year as an MFA student at California State University Northridge.

Existing parallel to our physical world, a digital sphere has become an alternate reality in which to exist. I am interested in how hyperreality, the inability to distinguish reality from a simulation of reality, affects our perception of the world. Filled with curated personalities, individualized advertisements and touched up imagery, the facade of the internet informs on our daily lives.
