I have an attraction to places and items that seem forgotten.
I pay attention to old apartments, stained material, discarded furniture,
and objects of a past life. I use the neighborhoods I have lived in as a
backdrop to explore the interrelationship between community, home and
identity. By observing the shifts in the local landscape
and using artifacts, structures, and furniture, I aim to
explore how my physical environment cues both memories of
trauma and comfort.
